About the Webcam Test
Test your webcam instantly: live preview, real resolution and frame rate, max supported quality, lighting check and snapshots — with fixes if your camera isn't working. Nothing uploaded.
Frame rate is measured from the video frames your browser actually receives, and resolution comes straight from the camera's active settings — so the numbers reflect what a call app will get. Nothing is recorded or streamed, and the camera turns off as soon as you stop the test or leave the page.
Webcam Test is part of a free, privacy-first toolkit. It uses your browser's built-in device APIs, so it starts instantly with nothing to install — and nothing you type, say or show ever leaves your device.
Because webcam test works without any sign-up or installation, you can use it as often as you like and it's always available — on desktop or mobile, and even offline.
