About the Mouse Test
Test every mouse button, the scroll wheel and side buttons, and catch a faulty mouse that double-clicks on its own. Shows click timing in milliseconds. Free and instant in your browser.
Button numbers come straight from the browser's mouse events (0 left, 1 middle, 2 right, 3 back, 4 forward). Inside the test area the page blocks the context menu, middle-click scrolling and back navigation, so every press can be counted.
Mouse Test is part of a free, privacy-first toolkit. It uses your browser's built-in device APIs, so it starts instantly with nothing to install — and nothing you type, say or show ever leaves your device.
Because mouse test works without any sign-up or installation, you can use it as often as you like and it's always available — on desktop or mobile, and even offline.
